Underage Drinking
Governor Cuomo Announces Advanced Efforts to Crack Down on Underage Drinking - March 8, 2017
According to a press release issued by the Governor’s office, over the next two months, State Liquor Authority Beverage Control Investigators, working with underage minor decoys, will conduct statewide sweeps at more than 500 locations holding liquor licenses, including bars and restaurants.
The enforcement effort began last week and will run through April. The enforcement sweeps support the Governor’s focus on deterring underage drinking and preventing the purchase of false identification documents. This additional sweep will supplement regular targeted details conducted throughout the year by SLA and DMV investigators.
