Briefing with NYC Dept. of Small Business Services (SBS) on the Small Business First Initiative

The New York State Restaurant Association has been attending industry briefings for the City’s Small Business First initiative. The Small Business First initiative is designed to make it easier for businesses to start, operate, and grow in New York City. As one of the city's key partners in this initiative, we'd like to share an overview of the Small Business First program (PDF).
The Small Business First initiative is designed to make it easier for businesses to start, operate, and grow in New York City.
SBS and the Mayor's Office of Operations has asked the Association to share all developments of the program with restaurants in New York City and help collect ideas and recommendations on how the Small Business First initiative and the city's Administration can help restaurants. The City is looking for ideas – big and small – on how to make it easier to operate and start your business. Now if the time to tell the City about those changes to laws, policies, agency interaction, forms – really anything – that would make your business run better.
Submit your idea online - It only takes 2 minutes of your time! All ideas must be submitted by Friday, September 26. You can also email your ideas to the Association and we will submit them for you.
