The New York State Restaurant Association is proud to say that we had a very successful legislative session. Governor Cuomo, Co-Majority Leaders Skelos and Klein, Speaker Silver, and Minority Leaders Stewart-Cousins and Kolb put their efforts to work and completed a successful session that was friendly to the restaurant industry. They passed a fourth-in-a-row on-time, fiscally sound budget, which included broad business tax reforms. And, perhaps most importantly, they declined to impose any new significant regulatory or cost burdens on New York restaurants.
