Get Your Business in the Press: Join the Media Response Team

"Helping Restaurateurs Succeed"â„  is our mission and our team is constantly creating new ways to promote, market, and share our members' unique stories and interests.


To help you succeed, we are launching a new communications program, the Media Response Team. This program is designed to reinforce to the public and the heads of government that our members are leaders in the industry.


The Media Response Team is a core group of NYS Restaurant Association members, who will be called as industry leaders to provide statements and insights to media inquiries.


This select group of industry insiders and experts will be on the front line for press opportunities on a variety of topics, including:

  • Legislative Issues: Paid Sick Leave, Organic Separation, etc.
  • Hot Trends: Gluten Free, Fast Casual Dining, Local Sourcing, etc. 
  • Business Operations: Securing Financing, Recordkeeping, etc.

All owners, chefs, general managers, and other industry representatives should be involved especially if they are interested in:

  • Gaining exposure in the media.
  • Establishing themselves as an expert in the industry.

Members of the Media Response Team will be contacted on an ad-hoc basis as media inquiries are submitted. Media Response Team members must commit to respond to inquiries as soon as possible and actively participate in all Media Response Team initiatives.
