One of the most pressing issues facing the Restaurant Industry here in New York is how to handle increased labor costs and what this issue may mean for future of tipping. 


Join the NYS Restaurant Association on the morning of March 7 at 10:30 at the International Restaurant and Foodservice Show of NY to listen to a panel of experts including Amanda Cohen, Chef/Owner of DirtCandy; Marc Murphy, Chef/Owner of Benchmarc Restaurants (Landmarc, Ditch Plains), Kingside, Grey Salt & Benchmarc Events; Dino Lavorini, Director of Operations at The Modern; Felice Ekelman, Labor Attorney for Jackson Lewis; and Edwin Guerrero, a Professional Waiter at Havana Central in NYC for a discussion on where the industry is heading on tipping and what options operators have in the current regulatory environment. The panel will be moderated by Melissa Fleischut, President and CEO of the NYS Restaurant Association.
