Apulian Roots in Altamura, Italy and the United Pugliesi Federation of Greater New York with the support of the Regione di Puglia are joining together for a week-long celebration of the foods and wines from the provinces of Puglia.
A number of restaurants, including NYS Restaurant Association members Marco Polo and ll Cortile, plan to participate and promote food and wine pairings from the region.

Apulian Food & Wine Week is a great event to showcase your restaurant and wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to participate. To participate, restaurants must:

  • Create and serve a Apulian food and wine menu. Sample menus can be provided upon request.
  • Purchase and promote Apulian red, white and dessert wines.
  • Provide staff with talking points about food and wine. This will be provided by event organizers.
  • Circulate wine promotional materials at bar and reception areas. This will be provided by distributors.
  • Circulate Puglia Food & Wine Week Flyers to customers and friends. This will be provided by event organizers.
  • Distribute gift bags for select customers. This will provided by United Pugliesi Federation of Greater New York and the Regione di Puglia.

All participating restaurants will be listed in event materials and included in press releases, promotional stories. In addition, restaurant owners and managers will be invited to the kick off event.
